Project Summary | This project aims at studying the use of the thermal and visual images to analyse pedestrian posture, movement, speed and abnormal situation through artificial intelligence and deep learning technology for enhancing road safety. The research would explore the use of pedestrian movement posture to identify the elderly and persons with disabilities for extending the flashing green time to facilitate them to cross the road and to enhance road safety. |
